New Aesthetic

As a digital native, I like to use my inherited powers to ask big questions about the virtual age. I love to play with images and ideas, study politics, and have a strong taste in music. Most of all, I often reflect on how new aesthetics are still valuable in a time of real financial crisis. In the words of Dave Hickey: “Good artists will make love among the ruins.” After a year, I’m optimistic that the Internet time suck can also be meaningful.

What is a photomontage philosophy?

A word I made up to describe a new aesthetic and an authentic approach to art, thinking, and the otherwise most natural way I have of arranging ideas and words into a coherent whole creative space. This blog is where I cut such a composite into bitesize servings, showcase collages, and study issues of race, culture, politics, and religion if I’m up for it.
