Busta Rhymes Killed It

Busta Rhyme’s “Arab Money” was embarrassing and dumb, but had an appeal: it wasn’t autotune. Hey Bust, do me a favor and only rap about what you know. Cool? Cause I was really wondering how the hell that song happened. It’s safe but kind of offensive. After for 30 seconds, listening gets really boring.

Figures Jay-Z had to step in before things got hot and just say it. Autotune is dead and a moment of silence. Love that Jay-Z added this is a recession but “the music you’re making gonna make it the Great Depression.” Exactly.

Here’s Busta’s new song “Respect my Conglomerate.” Finally, he’s got some good help to carry it and the song is hot if for a minute. Debby Coda is on the hook. Apparently, she doesn’t really matter though and only has 200 followers on Twitter. My work here is done.

  • Here's the stuff I wrote about Busta's first and second versions of "Arab Money". First version:

  • Hooray for corporate criminals! They're so COOL! I can only aspire to one day leave behind the ghetto in order to make millions of dollars selling poor minorities and voyeuristic white millenials an unrealistic and depraved lifestyle of corruption, narcissism, and sexism! Until then I'll make do with these positive role models like Busta Rhymes and whoever this skanky, mush-mouthed British chick is. Hip-Hop Forever!!!
