The Aftermath
Thunder snow is extremely rare, for various meteorological reasons that are over my head. So, I woke up this morning imagining the worst. I pictured roads closing, plows stuck mid-street because of the sheer volume of snow, children on the tops of houses, etc. The truth is that when I woke up, the scene was relatively undramatic. Cars were driving fine. Neighbors with snow blowers were helping neighbors without one. It was very organized compared to what I was expecting.
There still was a ton of snow but it wasn’t a zombie attack or anything the city wasn’t prepared to handle. Thunder snow, it turns out, is the most managable natural emergency known to man.
